First Issue, October 26th 1926

The first three issues were of the same 4 designs without watermark. A fourth issue came out in 1935 with different designs.
The first issue was perf.11 to 11¼

Second Issue, March 1st 1928

The colours and values were changed for the second issue.
All four values of this issue are known in different colours intended for use in Italian Colonies, but which escaped being overprinted with the name of the Colony. They are very rare.

Third Issue, July 1st 1930

The colours and values were changed yet again for the third issue.
The dates in Roman Numerals at each side were changed, and they were Perf.14.

1.25+0.30 Lire green and deep blue

5 lire

5+1.50 lire bistre and brown
Sassone 275.


Fourth Issue, July 1st 1935

Five values of a quite different design, including one Air Mail stamp. No illustrations available at present. They will be included in due course.
