On 18th September 1961 a set of two stamps was issued for the Europa Postal Conference. The design is of a dove composed of 19 small doves representing the 19 countries at the conference.
One stamp on one of four sheets of 50 30 lire stamps has a large spot under the upper wing of the bird.
