A problem plating this type is that the number of flaws is relatively few.
There is a degree of uncertainty about the correct position of
those marked (?). The shortage of surviving pairs makes it difficult to resolve this with certainty.
This was because Post Office clerks generally cut individual stamps out before sale.
If more than one image of a particular subject is available the title of the image will be highlighted, along with the word 'more'.

There is an unknown type known as X of which a number of single examples have been seen.
The identifying characteristics are: outside oval of medallion thin
under PO of POSTALE; fault on the background close to the point of the beard.
